Unitree G1 - Compact humanoid robot for research & development

The Unitree G1 is a state-of-the-art humanoid robot that impresses with its compact design, high mobility and powerful sensors.
With 23-43 degrees of freedom and a weight of only approx. 35 kg, it offers a versatile platform for universities, research institutions and development teams working on robotics, AI and automation.

Thanks to its foldable design (approx. 1.32 m when set up, approx. 0.69 m when folded), the G1 is easy to transport and can be used flexibly.
The integrated sensor technology - including 3D LiDAR, depth camera and microphone array - enables precise perception of the environment and supports a wide range of applications such as human-robot interaction, AI training and dynamic motion control.

Notes on variants

  • G1 Base: Basic version with 8-core CPU, 90 Nm knee joint torque, 2 kg arm payload - ideal for teaching and basic testing.
  • EDU-U1 (standard version): Based on G1 Basic, 100 TOPS computing power (Nvidia Orin NX 16 GB), knee moment 120 Nm, arm payload 3 kg, 23 degrees of freedom, AI-capable secondary development.
  • EDU-U2 (Advanced Version): Based on U1 with 3 DOF waist and 7 DOF per arm (29 degrees of freedom).
  • EDU-U3: Based on U2, with two Dex3-1 three-finger hands (without tactile feedback, 43 degrees of freedom).
  • EDU-U4: Like U3, but with tactile sensors on the Dex3-1 hands.
  • EDU-U5: Variants with five-finger hands (Inspire Robots RH56DFQ-2L/R), without tactile sensors (41 degrees of freedom).
  • EDU-U6: Like U5, but with tactile sensors on all fingers (41 degrees of freedom).
  • EDU-U7: Based on EDU-U2 Advanced version, with two powerful five-finger Revo 2 Basic hands. 41 degrees of freedom.
  • EDU-U8: Based on EDU-U1 Standard version, equipped with two Dex3-1 three-finger power-controlled hands (without tactile sensors). 37 degrees of freedom.
  • EDU-U9: Like EDU-U8, but with tactile sensors (33 sensors per hand) in the Dex3-1 hands. 37 degrees of freedom.
  • EDU-U10: Based on EDU-U1 standard version, with two five-finger Revo 2 Basic hands. 35 degrees of freedom.
